Lumberton Volleyball sparkles in win over E.E. Smith

Pirate seniors shine in final game before tournament play

The parents and fans of the Lumberton girls varsity volleyball team were treated to an exciting Pirates victory over E.E. Smith on Thursday night in Lumberton. Head Coach Hannah Hayes had good reason to smile as her energetic and determined team won its final regular-season game prior to next week's conference tournament. The evening included a ceremony honoring the team's four talented seniors, Tori Bell, Sharon McMillan, Safiya Ghaffar, and Caroline Prine.
