Dixie Youth AAA Baseball - 2008 Lumberton Tournament

Dunn continued its impressive tournament play with a 5-2 victory over previously unbeaten West Stanly on Monday night. Dunn's Thomas Wells drilled a triple, while Jackson Carr smacked a double to help propel the team to its third straight win of the tournament. In addition, Mathew Core made key defensive plays in the outfield for the determined Dunn team. Once-beaten Dallas will face Dunn on Tuesday at 7:00 pm, while West Stanly plays the West Robeson Americans on Tuesday at 5:30 pm.
